Sea World Resort's dedication to training and excellence has been recognised over the years by the hospitality, tourism and training industries.
Sea World Resort is the first hotel in Queensland ever to be awarded a place in the Queensland Hotel Association’s Hall of Fame, for the category of Best Training Initiative.
QHA President, Mr C.J Stewart states, “Hall of fame membership is only awarded to a person or hotel that has given valuable service and made a recognised contribution to the hotel and hospitality industries over a period of time".
Hall of Fame entry is the highest honour the QHA can bestow upon its members. Hotels must win the same award category at the QHA Awards for three years consecutively to be eligible. Sea World Resort has won the Best Training Initiative category for five out of the last six years.
Sea World Resort has won many employee, tourism and training awards since opening in 1988.
